Artist Shashikant Bane takes us on a tour of his recent oil paintings at Indiaart Gallery, Pune. Hailing from the region of Kokan in western ghats of India, the lush green nature and the simple hardworking folks of Kokan form the principal theme of his paintings, which are mostly in oil on canvas.
