Art India Foundation announces the initiative "Artists with Special Needs"

International Day of Persons with Disabilities
Art India Foundation salutes the spirit of persons with disabilities on IDPD (International Day of Persons with Disabilities)
which is observed annually on December 3.

On this occasion, Art India Foundation announces a long term initiative titled “Artists with Special Needs”. This initiative will promote artists or persons with special needs who create any kind of artwork. They may be differently abled ( physically challenged or mentally challenged ) or may be suffering from chronic illness. The profile and story of each such artist will be presented in this section with details of their creations which could include paintings, sculptures, cartoons, paper craft, paper bags, sketches, embroidered or woven fabric, handmade jewellery, carved pieces ( out of wood, chalk, stone or any other material ), painted objects or other such creations.

These artists and their creations will be promoted totally FREE. We will strive to establish market linkages for these artists and artisans.
Their contact information will be published on the website.
100% of the sale proceeds will go to the artist / creator.
